Car Insurance Pontiac (Car Insurance). when will gas go down?

when will gas go down? its at like 4.20 where im at in socal..and i really wanna know when its going to go down..like for real i want legit answers cause im curious and going broke!!!! :[

When people start using a lot less of it. Mostly about supply and demand. when we bomb another country and steal their oil like the other guy said. as long as we keep using it. its gonna keep going up Sorry, but gas prices are actually expected to go up over the Summer months. I'd like to advise you to cut back on the driving but I've been cutting back for 40 years. Any more cutting back and I'll be walking. They want 4.00 per gallon, so they waited for something to blame rising prices on, then they seized the opportunity... they will crank it up to 5.50 - 6.00 par gallon before it levels off, then when we're about ready to scream, it'll suddenly drop to 4.00 and settle there, and you'll pay it with a smile, Why? because it's not 5.50 that's why... Wow, $4.20 (or £2.52) per US Gallon, try paying $2.17 (£1.30) per litre ($8.22 per US Gallon), That is what we are paying here in the UK, now complain. When the US starts to drill its own oil again, and build more refineries, and eliminate commodities trading on the stock market, and violate our freedom by restricting profits for a company, then gas prices will come down. That's about all. I'd love for them to come down, but I'm realistic. It's not going to happen. I hope the gas prices will go down very soon .

ever think the new camaro will be canceled again? This has just came across my mind. i did notice chevy is making the same mistake they did before when it came to camaro vs mustang. *who can sell more* i was on auto trader doing some research on the new 2011 5.0 and the 2010 + with only 2kmiles on a 2011 mustang alot of them are already at 27grand. then i go to look at the new ss. alot of the 2010 models with 15k on them are going for 34grand. and take a few thousand off that your back at 40grand. it just gives me the thought that more people will buy mustangs and once again shut the camaro down. what are your thoughts on this? car insurance.

Pontiac . How to Adjust the Air Mixture for a Holley Carburetor

Properly adjusting a Holley carburetor's air/fuel mixture is one of the most commonly overlooked and important considerations. A mixture which is too rich, meaning the mixture does not have the proper quantity of air, can result in fouled sparkplugs and poor gas mileage. If the mixture is too lean, meaning that the mixture has too much air, the mixture can actually destroy the engine if left uncorrected. Thankfully, adjusting the mixture on a Holley carburetor is quite simple, as the mixture screws are located on the outside of the carburetor and can be quickly adjusted with a screwdriver.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy
Instructions Things You'll Need
Flathead screwdriver

Step by Step :
1
Locate the two air/fuel mixture screws on the metering blocks. Holley carburetors consist of a "body" and several components which attach to the body. The "body" of the carburetor is the large, square-shaped center section of the carburetor. At both the front and back of the body is a single float bowl. Between the body and each float bowl is a rectangular block, approximately 3/4 of an inch in width, called a metering block. On the side of each metering block is a single screw. These two screws work in conjunction to control the air/fuel mixture of the carburetor.
2
Set the two air/fuel mixture screws to a baseline point so that the mixture can be adjusted while the engine is idling. To set the baseline point, turn each screw in a clockwise direction with a flathead screwdriver until each screw seats, then back both screws out 1-1/2 turns.
3
Turn the engine on and allow it to idle. Turn each idle mixture screw, one at a time, in a clockwise direction 90 degrees. Continue to turn each screw in 90 degree increments while listening to the engine's idle speed. Once the engine's idle speed has begun to slow, back each idle mixture screw out 90 degrees to complete the process.

Pontiac . How to Rebuild a Holley

Rebuilding a Holley carburetor requires a kit specific to the model being rebuilt. Holley carburetors have a list number on the top front of the carburetor. The number can be seen when looking at it from the front on the air horn forward of the choke plate. Use this number for ordering all parts. Other parts not essential to the rebuild but for modifications the list number and size are necessary.
Difficulty:Challenging
Instructions Things You'll Need
Phillips screwdriver
Small common screwdriver
Small adjustable wrench
3/8-inch wrench
7/16-inch wrench
2 cans of carburetor cleaner
¼-inch drive ratchet
Set of ¼-inch sockets
Small brush or tooth brush

Step by Step :
1
Remove the float bowls from both ends of the carburetor using an 8mm socket and ratchet. Lay everything out so they can be replaced on the same side as removed.
2
Remove the bottom throttle plate base using the Phillips screwdriver. Remove the metering blocks by prying them off gently with the small common screwdriver. Remove the power valve, located in the front metering block using a small adjustable wrench.
3
Remove the accelerator pump or pumps, depending on model, from the bottom of the float bowl using the Phillips screwdriver. Clean all parts using the small brush and carburetor cleaner. Remove all gasket material from all surfaces.
4
Remove the needle and seat and the floats from both float bowls. To remove the needle and seat use the common screwdriver and the small adjustable wrench. Loosen the top locking screw with the screwdriver followed by using the adjustable wrench to turn the nut counter-clockwise to thread the needle and seat out of the top of the float bowl. Remove the pin in the float and remove the float.
5
Clean all the holes in the carburetor main body, metering block, float bowl and bottom throttle plate with the carburetor cleaner to make sure they are clear. Install the bottom throttle plate to the main body by installing the new gasket and Phillips screws and tighten.
6
Lay out the gaskets for the front float bowl and metering block. Lay out the new needle and seat and the new power valve. Install new gaskets on all four of the through-bolts that hold the float bowl and metering block on.
7
Set the float into the bowl and insert the pin. Insert the new needle and seat by removing the locking screw. Push the needle into the top of the bowl until the rubber o-ring snaps down and then replace the adjusting nut. With downward pressure, turn it clockwise to thread it in. Turn the float bowl upside down and continue to turn the needle and seat in until the float is level in the bowl. Turn the bowl over and install the locking screw with a new gasket under it and the adjusting nut and tighten the screw. Install the new accelerator pump with the new rubber diaphragm, insert the screws and tighten. Do the same for the other float bowl.
8
Install the new power valve in the front metering valve using a new gasket. Snug the valve with the adjustable wrench. Install a new gasket on the front on the main body followed by the metering body. Install the front float bowl on the metering block by inserting the four bolts and snugging them down. Do the same for the opposite side.

Lubricating the springs Various types of springs are used to absorb bumps and keep your vehicle level on turns. These can be coil springs, leaf springs, torsion bars, or air springs. Some cars have leaf springs at the rear wheels and coil springs at the front wheels. Some luxury cars, full-size trucks, and buses have air suspension systems. For more detailed information about each type of spring, see Chapter 11. The following list explains what you need to lubricate and how to do it, depending on the type of spring that you have: " Leaf springs: Each end of a set of leaf springs is attached to the frame at the rear of the car with fittings that enable the springs to bend and move freely. These fittings usually have rubber bushings that enable the fittings to bend and twist freely and also absorb some of the vibration and prevent it from reaching the passenger compartment (see Figure 16-6). If your leaf springs have more than one leaf per side, called multiple leaf springs, there may be a piece of plastic between the leaves. That plastic, called a slipper, can be lubed with suspension grease to prevent noise as the leaves slide over one another during jounce and rebound. . (Figures 16-7 and 16-8 show where the ball joints and bushings are on coil springs.) Sometimes these coil springs have rubber cushions at the top and bottom. If the coil springs are making noise, you can lube them with grease where they sit at the top and bottom. Use spray-on grease from an aerosol-type dispenser.
